Learn Professional Mitring & Seamless Resin Finishing

Join us for an intensive 1 day hands on training course led by HQ Tiling Ltd – Tile Fixer of the Year 2024 and Large Format Specialist. This course is designed for professional tilers who want to refine their skills and learn the techniques required to produce a seamless finish.

Throughout the day you will learn both machine and freehand mitring techniques, followed by professional resin mixing, colour matching, and finishing methods to achieve flawless results on large format tiles.

This is a fully practical course, giving you the opportunity to work with industry-leading tools including the Sigma J-Pro Mitre Machine, while receiving expert guidance from one of the industry's top installers.

What You Will Learn

During the course you will gain practical experience in:

• Machine mitring using the Sigma J-Pro
• Freehand mitring techniques for achieving tight, precise finishes
• Setting up and working from professional mitre bays
• Correct resin mixing techniques
• Colour matching resin to blend seamlessly with tiles
• Applying resin correctly for strength and appearance
• Finishing and polishing mitred edges

Each attendee will have access to their own mitre bay (1.2m high x 250mm wide) to mount and assemble their finished mitred tiles.

This course is designed to be fully practical, allowing you to develop confidence through hands-on learning.

You will work with professional tools, materials and guidance throughout the day, ensuring you leave with real skills you can apply immediately on site.
